As I said in the rules, You can only have a hybrid of two dragons. This doesn't include you being able to control your differences. For example it would be quite a rare occasion to have Skywing and icewing parents. In this case you wouldn't just look like one or the other. To learn more about this, I encourage you to read The series Wings of Fire (this isn't mandatory for you to join though). So back to the skywing and Icewing thing. You wouldn't just look like one or the other. You would be either one or the other with odd traits. I suppose if you want to look somewhat like the two, you could. But you cannot have both powers.
Moving on past hybrids, Some might find it hard to be the dragon as a cat or wolf form. It's a lot simpler than you can see. Simply just smack the colors and types of ears on. Don't worry about the horns or anything. You can add whatever hair you want, as long as it isn't a mane. But do try to make it look as much like the type as you can. If you need to know what the types are, look under rules in the character thread. The links should be there.
